Art: "Birth of a Soul Landscape" by Tabin Llewellyn Brooks

Poetry: "thirst" by Grant Moser

mistletoe & saltwater

mimic a want

make me bend like a sunower

          in tussled undergrowth

in the endings of skin

i want to be striated like

vertical maps like klimt like

subway skeletons like circuitry

gone feral

stretch me across the dale

cover me in wheat grass &

hedge trimmings i am no

harvest i am not viable

let honey seep into me first

to make a reservoir that will

keep fast the rainfall

for the desert ahead.
