No palm. It’s all ecological and sustainable and something-free. The vocabulary is new. It found a new niche. This is your platform for it.

We want words that address the most pressing issues facing humans and planet earth and aliens and zombies. Words on climate change. Darkness and humor. Emotion but no mush. Sincerity. Words that address the pain of being human or alien or tree. The conflicts. The hypocrisy. The fundamentally flawed and imperfect. How to balance all of this Relativity? A thankless task? An impossible notion? Pure fancy and invention on the count of literary possibility?

. The entry must be the entrant’s own original creation and must not infringe upon the right or copyright of any person or entity. 

. Co-authored entries will not be accepted. 

. The entry must be literature in the form of fiction, nonfiction or poetry.

. Multiple entries per person will be accepted.

. LMNL SPCS Editors will make final decisions on eligibility. Our decisions will be final and no communication will be entered into on the subject.

. Entries that are incomplete, are corrupted, and/or incite hate will not be considered.

. The prize will be open until June 10th 2026. LMNL SPCS reserves the right to extend the entry window.

. The Winner(s) will be announced within 14 days of the prize deadline date.

. LMNL SPCS will have the exclusive world rights to publish the winning piece(s) in online form and to represent foreign rights on the author’s behalf. The author will be contracted with a standard agreement.

. LMNL SPCS reserves the right not to award the prize, as well as to make multiple offers of publication.

. LMNL SPCS reserves the right to vary the rules and conditions of entry and to make any amendments to the published schedule as deemed necessary.

. The cost of the submission is set and displayed via Submittable

. Each offering may be selected only once per submitter. Multiple selections will result in the submission being declined without notice

. Submissions are considered as they arrive. All decisions are final: we do not enter into correspondence or extended discussion

. All payments are non-refundable

. If you choose a critique alongside an expedited or one-day response, your submission will be accepted or declined within the timeframe- all W H Y submissions enter the same queue and will be dealt with independently of expedited selections
